Two miles north of Sneads, Florida, on River Road (County Road 271), Three Rivers State Park is on the western edge of Lake Seminole, which is formed by the Jim Woodruff Dam. We caught some deer playing and foraging in the Lake in June 2011. Lake Seminole is also known for its bass and brim fishing.

The Florida Panhandle (Northwest Florida), due to its many natural springs, is one of the choice locations in the world for Cave Diving. According to the National Speleological Society Cave Diving Section, "Jackson County may be the best supporter of cave diving in Florida, maybe even in the world."
